My pre #MeToo story now available online in Brittle Paper
Last fall, before the Me Too movement broke in the USA, I published a story about a recent unpleasant encounter with a successful Nigerian author. It ran in Aké Review, a Nigerian journal associated with the Aké Books & Arts Festival, which chose as its 2017 theme Feminism (or, as they called it, The F-Word).
Two weeks ago, the brilliant African literary blog Brittle Paper reported that famed author Chimamanda Adichie had told her own Me Too story at the Stockholm Forum on Gender Equality. They asked if they could reprint my story, "A Few Words for African Nationalists," which went up today. Please share!
