Off to DC for oh, so many reasons
So it's AWP time, time for 14,000 writers to flood a U.S. city for a weekend of paneling, reading, and cocktailing! This year it's DC (little did we know that we'd want to storm the gates of the new regime, pens in hand). Nonetheless, I'm still excited, particularly to be reading with VONA/Voices faculty at the Library of Congress, hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus!
And to have sold-out passes to the new National African American History Museum!
